The long drive up on Friday afternoon should have given warning about the weather to come over the weekend, good wet OMRA weather. Saturday morning started bright but late morning saw the first of the rain, clearing to the afternoon to give a good sunny evening. There was a good crowd, I believe so 42 entrants for the weekend. |

| For some of us this was the first chase boat race that we had done so it was both exciting and with apprehension that we started. For others it was second nature and they knew what to expect, I had been told that the event to be held in Cornwall this year will be much more fun on the open seas. Lewis Hunnable seen in the left hand picture is one of OMRA's youngest members having a go (7 Years old). | ||||||

Here you can see both boat and chaser returning from the end of a 3.5 mile course, the fastest boat times ranged from 4 something minutes to complete the full course (Very Fast). |
