Here are some shots of my "Predator" that Leigh Hunnable shot from the chase boat.  I had the misfortune of dunking my boat at about the 2 mile mark and took cold water into the engine, blowing the inlet side of the piston to bits.  The pictures shown are once I had put the Leo engine back in, however I had a problem with it overheating.

What's all the fuss about...  This was the first I had seen, a jet turbine powered boat, it was fast but the sound was what made it all the more impressive.  The picture far right was a view taken through the control box of Windermere Power Boat club, I was sheltering from the rain, and it was one of a few places that I could use the camera.

Here are some of the better photographs I took of the racing on Sunday.

And some more, check the rain drops out on the water.

Here are some out of sequence photographs, far left, Leigh is testing the water out, unfortunately he dropped his bracelet in 3.5ft. of water and was trying to recover it.  He didn't succeed, one of the Water Skier's form the Power boat club managed to retrieve it.  Was it cold Leigh?.  A mention to the brave who went out on the recovery boats recovering dead boats.  The last pictures show the amount of concentration required to race competitively.
